ABOUT
Wolwefontein Lodge is a quiet guesthouse situated 30km outside Colesberg on the N9 between Colesberg and Noupoort. It is possible to access the N1 via Noupoort, getting back onto the highway at Hanover.
Wolwefontein is a beautiful area where the whole family can come to reconnect away from the hustle and bustle of the city. While mom and dad relax, the children can run around and play safely. There are many attractions to see from the chickens and meerkats, to the baby foals. There are also walking and off-road cycling tracks that can be explored.
The guesthouse has five rooms that each have a basic kitchenette (microwave, minifridge) and their own braai facility. There is also a fully kitted communal kitchen for all guests to use. Each unit has its own television and bathroom. There is unfortunately no Wifi available on the farm.
Due to the remote nature of the Karoo, electricity and signal can be challenging to obtain at certain times. The Karoo makes up for this with its beautiful evening sunsets that can be enjoyed with the whole family while sitting by the fire cooking local Karoo lamb.
